Prof. Steven Kenway is a scientist and manager with senior experience in research, industry, and government. Prof. Kenway is an international leader in quantifying the links between water, energy and carbon. He creates tools and models of all flows of water – and related energy into, out of, and within cities.

Prof. Pieter Uyttenhove is full professor in Theory and History of Urbanism and was Head of the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at Ghent University until 2014. Prof. Uyttenhove has developed and directed in recent years research on urban design, heritage and landscape, and on topics as (chrono)photography ; urbanized landscapes ; urbanism and heritage of First World War landscapes and villages.
